3. The Old dirt road

From the Camping you get to Acquaviva through the county road to Portoferraio.
The entrance of the path is 300 metres after the mechanic shop on the right. The road is paved just for a short part, then it becomes dirt and it is only 3 metre wide .
You go up until you see 8 beautiful sea pines ( you could also take a walking path which takes you to Viticcio), then carry on to the top of the hill where you find the path n 50 which is a crossroad between the paths number 49 and 51 to Forno and to Punta Penisola. If you are by bile, it woud be better to carry on the dirt road to Porto Ferraio , Reciso Hill and the Lazzaro Valley . You soon get to the first couple of houses on the hill from where you can see the county road to Procchio ( Pecorino Hill).
From here you carry on the beautiful downhill street towards the Biodola Gulf. To get back to Enfola Camping you can take the street to Forno and then the walking path n. 49 or you can carry on by rounding on Punta Penisola. You walk through the gate into a beautiful pine wood, at the end of which you take the path n. 51 which is practicable on foot in places and in places by MTB until the crossroad of the paths # 49,50,51 over the Viticcio.
Then you got down the path n. 49 which in a very short time takes you to the Viticcio and from here to the county road which leads to the Camping.
